Lava Z50 is the next smartphone to be launched in India in the tag of Android Go after Nokia 1 was launched at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February 2018. Android Go is the Operating System launched by Google which is a lighter version of the Android to low-end and inexpensive smartphones with limited RAM and limited internal memory.

LAVA Z50 Specifications

Lava Z50 comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480x854 pixels. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek MT6737m coupled with 1 GB of RAM and has an approximate Antutu Benchmark score of 28000. It has an 8 GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via external Micro Sd card.

In the camera department, it has a 5MP sensor of both rear and front with LED Flash. It supports Bokeh(depth) mode to blur the background on both front and rear camera along with features like Face beauty, Video Beauty, Panorama, GIF Mode, Intelligent Selfie and much more.

Lava Z50 has 2000 mAH of battery backup which would easily last for more than a day given the low-end specifications and power requirements. It has support for FM, Bluetooth, WiFi and weighs around 140 grams.

Lava Z50 is priced Rs 4400 and comes with two-year warranty and one-time screen replacement in the first year. Airtel under its 'Mera Pehla Smartphone Program' is offering Rs 2000 cashback on this phone subject to the condition of recharging the Airtel Account with a total of 3500 in the first 18 months and 3500 for 19-36 months. So in total, you would have to spend around Rs 7000 on the Airtel Recharge over a period of 3 years which gives an effective Rs 195 per month to avail Rs 2000 cashback on the phone.
