The Oppo K1 has a beautiful and large 6.41-inch notch display with thin bezels. It is an AMOLED display so the blacks are dark and contrast is good overall. It is also power efficient which means you get a good battery backup. The battery inside is 3600 mAh but it will easily last for 1.5 days on medium usage. With light use, you can get 2 days backup.
Snapdragon 660 powers things with 4GB RAM. Multitasking is a breeze on this device. The Color OS is bloated with a lot of extra features and apps though. The storage is 64GB which should be enough for most users to store their pictures, music, and docs.

Honor 7X was a decent smartphone with a decent display, average camera and battery and looks were not that great as well. The Honor 8X improves in all areas and is a much better package. It comes with a large 6.5-inch notch display with very thin bezels all around. The overall size of the phone is the same as any other 5.5-inch phone with 16:9 aspect ratio display. The display is bright and sharp with good colors and viewing angles. For the price, it is a very nice display and won't disappoint you.
The back of the Honor 8X is made of polycarbonate and has a reflective dual tone design which looks very cool. Design-wise, this is clearly the best smartphone under 15000. The in-hand feel is also good and the phone feels premium.
The Honor 8X is powered by Kirin 710 processor which is an octa-core chipset running at 2.2GHz. For multitasking, there is 4GB of RAM and for storing pictures, songs, videos there is 64GB of storage. The processor and RAM combination is sufficient for medium to heavy usage and the phone doesn't lag even while switching between a lot of apps. There is also a 128GB variant if you are someone who likes to store a ton of data on their phones.
The Honor 8X comes with a large 3750 mAh battery which would last for 1 to 1.5 days with medium usage. With low usage, you can get even 2 days of backup.
On the camera side, we have a dual 20MP+2MP setup on the rear and 16MP camera on the front for selfies. Portrait mode pictures can be taken from both front and rear cameras. The camera performance in daylight conditions is good. Pictures look nice with good amount of details. Color reproduction is decent and edge detection also works well in portrait mode. The low light performance is good but not great. Honor has also added plenty of AI features which do improve the camera performance in certain cases.
Overall, Honor 8X is a great smartphone and is priced very well. It offers great value for money and is one of our favorite in under Rs. 15000 category of smartphones.

3. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 comes with a new design. The back is polycarbonate but it has a reflective back design which looks really nice. The dual camera setup is placed vertically on the top left and the logo and fingerprint sensor are placed at the center. On the front, we have a 6.26-inch Full HD+ notch display. The notch size is fine and it houses the front camera, flash, and speaker. The display has good color reproduction but the brightness isn't that great and you will notice that only while using the phone outdoors in bright conditions.
The Zenfone Max Pro M2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. There are 3 variants available 3GB 32GB, 4GB 64GB and 6GB 64GB. If your usage is low, 3-32GB variant would be fine for you, for medium usage go for 4-64 and heavy users can go for 6GB RAM variant so get a smooth experience. Snapdragon 660 processor performs really well with Stock Android and you won't notice any lag during the day to day usage. Medium and heavy games also run fine on Zenfone Max Pro M2.
On the camera side, we have a dual camera setup on the back. Asus is using a 12 MP Sony IMX486 sensor which comes with F1.8 aperture, 6P Lens and 1.25 µm (micrometer) pixel size for photos that are bright and vibrant. EIS support is also there which would help in recording stable 4K videos. The 5MP secondary sensor is used to provide depth effect in portrait mode pictures. The edge detection is decent but not the best. Asus should improve this with a software update. On the front, we get a 13MP camera with flash for low light selfies. The performance of the front camera is good and it can take well-detailed pictures with good color reproduction.
On the battery side, Asus has added a massive 5000 mAh battery which would last for 2 days on a single charge. Even with a big battery, the phone weighs 175g and is not that heavy.
Overall, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is an impressive mid-range smartphone. If you have a budget of Rs. 15000 then this is one of the best options available.

Vivo V11 Pro is the successor of Vivo V9 which was launched earlier this year. Vivo V11 Pro is a big upgrade over V9 and brings flagship features to the midrange. The phone is lightweight and easy to hold. It is not a metal body which helps to keep the weight low. The back has a color gradient and is black on the upper half and blue on the lower half. The back looks really nice.
The display on the front is 6.4 inch Super AMOLED panel. Vivo has added a very small notch which houses the front camera. The bezels are thin all around and the display of body ratio is over 91% which is incredible for a midrange phone. The display panel is gorgeous with punchy colors and good viewing angles. The phone looks very premium overall.
Under the display, there is a fingerprint sensor. This is a 4th gen under-display fingerprint sensor. It is still not as fast as normal fingerprint sensors but it is close. There is also IR face unlock feature so you can unlock the phone with your face in low light conditions as well.
The camera on the back is dual pixel 12MP sensor with 5MP depth sensor to take portrait mode pictures. The front camera is a 25MP sensor. Both cameras take excellent pictures in daylight conditions and good pictures in low light conditions. The camera performance is comparable to the flagship phones. The video recording isn't great though. We hope Vivo improves video recording with a software update. It would be great to see EIS and 1080p at 60FPS on the V11 Pro.
The V11 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 660 processor which is a powerful midrange chipset. There is 6GB of RAM to handle the multitasking and 64GB of storage. The phone performs well with no lag in the day to day usage. You can also play heavy games like PUBG and Asphalt 9 without any issues.
The battery inside the V11 Pro is 3400 mAh and would last for a day on medium usage. The display is AMOLED so you can use dark wallpapers to increase the battery life.
Overall, Vivo V11 Pro is a great smartphone and we are impressed by the performance and features. If you are looking for a smartphone at a price of around 25k, this is the phone you should buy.

It is a notch display with thin bezels all around which helps to keep the device size small.
The LG G7+ is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset which is flagship processor which excellent performance. There is 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage on this device. Plenty of RAM and powerful processor is a perfect recipe for a smooth lag free experience. Apps open fast and switching between them is a breeze. Gaming performance is incredible as well.
The G7+ ThinQ comes with a dual 16MP+16MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The dual camera has a 16MP Super Wide Angle lens (F1.9 / 107-degree) and a 16MP Standard Angle (F1.6 / 71-degree)]. The wide-angle lens lets you capture a lot more as compared to the standard lens. If you are taking a group shot, the wide angle lens would come handy. Also, the wide aperture helps to gather more light and improves the low light performance. It also uses AI to detect scenes and change settings accordingly. Overall, it is a great camera phone.
The battery inside the phone is just 3000mAh so you can expect a day of backup with it. Other features include, IP68 rating which means you don't have to worry about water or dust. Asus has aggressively priced its flagship phone Asus Zenfone 5Z in India. It is 5000 less than the most affordable flagship: OnePlus 6. Asus Zenfone also offers similar hardware. The screen on the front is 6.2 inches large notch display with a resolution of Full HD Plus. The display has rich colors, good contrast, and viewing angles. It is a lovely display.
The back has a reflective design which looks cool. The phone is slim and lightweight and is easy to use. It is a bit slippery, so putting a case on would be a good option.
There is a 12MP+8MP dual rear camera and 8MP front selfie camera. Both front and rear cameras can take portrait mode pictures. Bokeh effect pictures look nice with proper edge detection is good and a decent amount of background blur. The 12MP camera sensor is a color sensor and the 8MP sensor is wide angle lens. You get a much wider field of view with the secondary sensor. The camera performance of the phone is great. Images look sharp and crisp with a good amount of details.
The chip inside the 5Z is Snapdragon 845 which is a flagship processor of 2018 which excellent performance. 5Z comes with 6-8GB of RAM and 64-128-256 GB storage options. Plenty of RAM and a flagship processor means the performance of the phone is top notch. It will be able to handle all kinds of apps without any issues. Playing heavy games like PUBG is a great experience.
5Z comes in 3 variants, 6GB 64GB at 29999, 6GB 128GB at 32999 and 8GB 256GB at 36999. All variants provide excellent value for money. Go for it if you are looking for a flagship phone under 30000 to 35000.

It has rich colors with good saturation and contrast levels.
The back of the phone has a reflective design. It also has 2 colors with a gradient in between. The phone has a refreshing new look. The fingerprint sensor and a dual camera is on the back. The camera performance is good in both outdoor and indoor conditions. The selfie camera is a massive 25MP shooter and takes excellent selfies and works great for face unlocking as well.
The processor inside is Helio P60 which is a powerful processor and is similar to Snapdragon 660 in performance. With 6GB of RAM, the performance of the phone is excellent with no lag. Apps open fast and switching between them is a breeze.

OnePlus 6T is powered by the industry best and most powerful mobile processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 which has the Antutu Benchmark Score of 270000 and easily beats any other smartphone in the industry. It is backed by 6 GB of RAM and the performance is super smooth. You can easily play multiple games, run multiple applications and do anything but there is no sign of lag or issues with the smartphone. It has 128 GB of internal memory and there is also a 2nd variant which has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory and can be checked here.
On the camera side, again this smartphone does an amazing job. It has a dual rear camera of 16MP + 20MP sensor while the front camera is a 16MP sensor. There is support of both OIS and EIS on the rear camera and the front camera has support for EIS. The video recording would be a lot smoother and not shaky with these features. Both the camera have very accurate color reproduction to what your eyes see and is amazed us. The rear camera also supports 4K video recording and slow-motion videos.
It has a battery rated at 3700 mAh which powers the phone for around 1 to 1.5 days easily. It comes with a dash charger that can charge your phone up to 50 per cent in just 30 minutes. It runs on Android 9 Pie operating system and no bloatware so the user experience is best. The OnePlus 6T comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is a cool new tech but the experience is not that great as of now. The fingerprint is slow and the screen needs to light up first to detect the fingerprint.
Overall, it is an excellent phone with top-notch performance, beautiful design, amazing camera, dash charging, and stock android. It is the best phone you get in the budget of Rs. 35000 to 40000.
